No deal Brexit now 'almost inevitable': leading MEP
The failure of British lawmakers to agree an alternative Brexit strategy means their country will almost certainly crash out of the EU without a deal, a leading MEP warned Tuesday.
"The House of Commons again votes against all options. A hard Brexit becomes nearly inevitable," Guy Verhofstadt, the former Belgian prime minister and head of the European Parliament's Brexit steering committee said.
"On Wednesday, the UK has a last chance to break the deadlock or face the abyss," he tweeted.
